After School Mentors in Beaverton (age 15+) Referral

The After School Program at Community Partners offers a safe place for children to play and study. We are looking for volunteers to help at-risk children with their homework, supervise activities and serve as positive role models. With your help, we can ensure that the children at our properties achieve academic success and have a safe place for play. Our volunteers must have a desire to work with children and are comfortable assisting with homework.

Our program operates from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Mondays and 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM on Wednesdays. We prefer volunteers who are committed for at least a semester. Most volunteers come in 1 to 2 days a week (i.e. Mondays).

Volunteers at CPAH help resident youth with their homework, supervise activities and games and serve as a positive role model. They have the desire to work with children, are comfortable supervising activities and are willing to read aloud/assist with homework. Homework does not go beyond 5th grade level.

Volunteers make all the difference with this program.
